Aishwarya Chakravarthy

Aishwarya Chakravarthy, a performer, choreographer and Instructor of Bharathanatyam, started learning this art form from the age of 4. She had her initial training at Shivanjali, Chennai and moved to Koothambalam to continue her journey under the tutelage of Guru Sri Aravindan and Smt. Vasantha Aravindan. 

Aishwarya was a regular performer at various music and dance festivals in India from 2000 to 2008 before moving to the USA. She was part of several major dance productions by senior guru's such as Kalaimamani Sri. Madurai R Muralidharan, Smt. Mutharasi Ravi, Smt. Sudha Vijaykumar and Smt. Sheela Unni. 

Aishwarya is currently pursuing her Bharathanatyam journey under the guidance of Kalaimamani Sri. Madurai R Muralidharan and Kalaimamani Smt. Roja Kannan.

Aishwarya founded Natyakshetram Bharathanatyam Dance School in 2015 has been training several aspiring students since then. 

Achievements: 

• Bharat Kalachar young artist dance scholarship 
• Tamil Nadu Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram Young artist scholarship from the Govt. Of Tamil Nadu
• Recipient of the dance scholarship from the Central Govt of India (CCRT)
• Two record participation credits from the Guinness Book of World Records under the guidance of Kalaimamani Sri Madurai R Muralidharan.
• Awarded “Natya Jyothi” title from Koothambalam 
• Member of the International Dance Council, CID
